Data Center Infrastructure Support
Our Team of Mr. Tim Atherton and Mr. Donald MacDonald have a combined 25 years of Data Center and infrastructure experience, and industry certifications like ITIL and the BICSI Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) certification held by less than 200 people worldwide. Our experience includes both Government facilities in classified and unclassified environments, and commercial facilities for companies like Yahoo, Lockheed Martin, and the University of Maryland.
Some of the more recent projects include:
- Provided assessment, consolidation assistance, and action report for the DISA Headquarters data centers which included over 1,000 cabinets throughout the facility. This included reviews of the Power, Low Voltage, HVAC, and Capacity Management.
Provided build out and assessment of new Camp Lejeune data center that included all low voltage, rack and stack, power and power backup systems.
- Provided US Geological Survey with assessment for consolidation of 3 data centers across a campus down to one new data center that we designed and provided budgetary estimates for the construction of the new data center. This included structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, fire protection and suppression, cabinets and aisle containment and networking.
- For the Romanian Government, NOVA provided assessments of their existing data centers to determine if the existing data centers could support a new digital archive and a knowledge management system. NOVA assessed their data centers according to TIA-942 standards and provided recommendations for upgrades to their data centers to assure that the knowledge management system would not be disrupted.
- NOVA provided Assessment, and Action Report for the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise Police and Fire data center to include Power, Low Voltage, HVAC, Grounding and Anti-Static systems, and Fire Suppression.
